We are currently seeking a full time Program Aide to join our intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division working at the Adult Training Facility in Hummelstown, PA.
The duties of a Program Aide involve direct care and program assistance in assigned area. Direction is provided by the Program Instructor. Work is supervised by the Program Director. * Assist the participants with skills of daily living such as toileting, eating and other personal hygiene. * Direction is provided by the program instructor in designated areas. * Program Aide acts as the lead in the absence of the program instructor. * Document participants daily attendance. Implements goal plans and provides guidance in social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities. * Assist participants on skill building out in the community/Drive company vehicles. * Keep storage areas and work areas clean and properly arranged. * Assist with documentation responsibilities as requested. * Perform special assignments as directed and related work as required.
