PA/NP -Hospitalist Nocturnist - Corewell Health West, Grand Rapids, MI

The Butterworth Nocturnist Hospitalist team is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice caring for patients on their busy team. In addition to PA's they are looking for Acute Care or Adult Gerontology NP's. Experience preferred but not required.

Position details:

  • Working with a well established Physician group, additional APPs, Residents and other disciplines to assure safety and success

  • 6 - 12 hr shifts over a two week period (7pm-7am), no call requirements

  • Variability with scheduling as needed with the team

  • Robust ramp up, orientation process

  • Variety of settings working between Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals both located within Grand Rapids

As an Advanced Practice Provider in the Corewell Health Medical Group, you will have:

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master's, post-master's or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission

  • 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience

  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner

  • LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)

Physician Assistant:

  • Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program

  • LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan

  • CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
