Job Title: RF Engineer Net Systems Performance

Location(s): East Syracuse, NY

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

• A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• Knowledge of RF theory as well as 5G and LTE/VoLTE technology.
• Experience with major RAN equipment vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung).
• Understanding of 5G and LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
• Experience with network Design/Optimization.
• Knowledge of various IB RF tools such as iBwave and Atoll.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
• Programming back end and front end languages (Python/SQL/HTML/PHP/Java)
• Knowledge of Linux server environments (shell script commands, crontab, etc.)
• Ability to clearly communicate input/outputs of scripts to shareholders so that they can understand what they're getting and what difficulties there may be.

• Our network engineering team keeps us ahead of the competition.
• As an SP Engineer, you'll be supporting some of the major tools and process that the RF and SP teams will utilize to improve network performance and customer experience.
• You'll play a key role in making sure our customers continue to enjoy the crystal-clear connections and top-notch call performance that we are known for.
• Using knowledge of 5G, LTE, IP, and microwave to contribute to network design.
• Maintain and Develop RF/SP Reporting tools and algorithms
• Extract and manipulate data from multiple datasets to deliver reports, tools, and process improvements
• Work with local RF and SP teams to develop tools and reports needed to efficiently diagnose and monitor the network.
• Maintaining accuracy of the databases and tools to ensure proper reporting.
• You will also have the opportunity for involvement in the system performance aspects of macro network engineering in a challenging RF environment and getting involved in all aspects of deployment and optimizations from the initial integration phase through the final testing and acceptance phase.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in RF design and optimization.
• Experience in Programming.
