Overview

Under the supervision of the Nuclear Cardiology Manager and/or Coordinator, performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the nuclear cardiologist. Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an A.M.A. approved program in Nuclear Medicine. AS degree required, BS degree preferred. EXPERIENCE Demonstrates technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine Nuclear Cardiology imaging. LICENSURE NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required (may not be on any type of probation). CPR Certification required. SPECIAL SKILLS Must have a basic knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine equipment and nuclear cardiology imaging procedures. Above average knowledge of anatomy, computer/Pacs applications, and good organizational and communication/customer service skills. PHYSICAL DEMAND Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds to assist with patient transfers. YNHHS Requisition ID 120224 |
