IT Systems Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Sytems Engineer to join a growing remote team. This IT Systems Engineer will have experience in designing and maintaining IT infrastructure, managing server environments and virtualization, ensuring security and compliance, providing advanced troubleshooting, and developing operational standards and training programs.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $30 - $45 / hr. w2

Manage the integration of BroadbandOne's network and develop test plans for network architecture.

Assess hardware and design RAN/Transport networks to enhance the company's wireless connectivity offerings.

Work with internal and external partners to formulate go-to-market strategies and maintain dependable infrastructure performance.

At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, system engineering, or a similar area is needed.

Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments, as well as virtualization technologies like VMware and ESXi, and cloud services such as AWS and Azure, is crucial.

Expertise in networking protocols, cybersecurity fundamentals, and system management tools like Sage and Zoho, combined with excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities, is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Red Hat Certified Engineer, Cisco CCNA) are desirable.
