Lead Technical Analyst (Flex Office/Home)

This position collects requirements and converts into technical documentation for teams to consume. This role is a key contributor in influencing the business and technical analysis process across the entire enterprise.

Position Compensation Range:

$107,000.00 - $181,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Works with the appropriate teams to develop product requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, task and workflow analysis.
  • Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements while delivering required project artifacts.
  • Identifies process gaps and work with stakeholders to mitigate and solve for; understand project impacts across lines of business.
  • Clearly and concisely communicates verbal and written requirements and analysis output to developers, testers, and business owners.
  • Prioritizes requests to achieve best results and meet goals; coordinate with program and project management.
  • Contribute to defining technical solutions that meet delivery objectives.
  • Run metrics and analyze data using data analysis tools.

  • Strong Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.
  • Stakeholder Management - Ability to identify, engage, and manage stakeholders at all levels. Ensures alignment and collaboration across different departments and teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Capable of identifying issues, analyzing data, and developing effective solutions.
  • Risk Management - Proficient in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. Ensures project risks are managed and communicated effectively.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility - Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Demonstrates flexibility in approach and is open to new ideas and methodologies.
  • Technical Expertise - Strong understanding of technical systems and architecture, particularly in relation to policy management and archiving solutions, is preferred. Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools.
  • Customer Focus - Strong focus on customer needs and expectations. Ensures that project outcomes align with business objectives and deliver value to the end-users.
  • Project Management Proficiency - Proven experience in managing large-scale projects. Skilled in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Excel).

Travel Requirements
*Up to 10%.

Physical Requirements
*Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with information technology; experience with PAS implementations, policy transfers (book rolls, conversions, migrations), data archival solutions, and system retirement efforts is preferred.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, consider various stakeholders' perspectives, and make informed, effective decisions in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative, with a proven track record of being a self-starter who can drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Boston, MA; Madison, WI
