On-Site Representative (Aircraft Paint Line)

STS Technical Services is hiring an On-Site Representative for the Aircraft Paint Line at an MRO facility in Macon, Georgia. In this crucial role, you will serve as a direct liaison between the airline and the MRO team, overseeing the seamless execution of aircraft painting projects. This position requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects meet quality standards and timelines.

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of aircraft painting projects from start to finish.
  
• Monitor and maintain project timelines, ensuring all schedules are met.
  
• Track project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  

• Conduct inspections throughout the painting process to verify adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Review and approve quality control documentation, addressing any quality issues promptly.
  
• Ensure each project meets FAA regulations and company standards.
  

• Serve as a point of contact for MRO personnel, airline maintenance teams, and other stakeholders.
  
• Provide regular project updates and address potential issues with MRO staff to ensure timely task completion.
  

• Ensure all projects comply with FAA regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices to maintain compliance.
  

• Maintain accurate records of project activities, quality metrics, and cost analysis.
  
• Prepare and submit regular reports detailing project progress, quality assurance, and cost metrics.
  

Required Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of aircraft maintenance and painting processes.
  
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation quality standards.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed.
  
• Valid driver's license.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an On-Site Representative or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
  
• Familiarity with CRJ aircraft models and their paint specifications.
  
• Certification in Quality Assurance or a related field.
