THE ROLE: Cyber Consulting Director, East

Job Summary:

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for cybersecurity? Presidio is seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead our growth in the tri-state area. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape our security strategy, work with and build a world-class team, and drive success in a rapidly evolving market.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role open to candidates residing the following areas: Morristown, NJ; Glastonbury, CT; Hauppauge, Long Island area. Expected travel will be 25-35%.

Job Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:



  • Be the Architect: Collaborate with our teams to help develop and execute a compelling vision for our security practice, identifying key markets, emerging technologies, and strategic partnerships that will fuel our growth.
  • Empower and Inspire: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of security professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Drive Market Leadership: Establish Presidio as the go-to security partner for clients in the tri-state area. This includes developing and delivering impactful presentations, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and staying ahead of the curve on industry trends.
  • Forge Strategic Alliances: Identify and cultivate relationships with key technology partners, negotiating favorable terms and maximizing the value of our partnerships.
  • Own the Outcome: Take full ownership of the practice's financial performance, analyzing key metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and driving profitable growth.

Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 10+ years' experience in a Cybersecurity role involving the design, development and implementation of complex cyber security solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of security architectures and technologies including assessment, methodologies, compliance standards etc. as well as technology solutions such as Cloud Security Solutions, MDR/XDR, SASE/SSE, and other security focused disciplines.
  • Leading industry certifications like, CISSP, CCIE (Security), CISA, CISM, CEH, CHP, PCI-QSA are highly desired.
