MongoDB seeks a Technical Content & Partnerships Strategist to join the Technical Marketing team in Developer Relations. This role will focus on strengthening our presence within the tech ecosystem by building relationships with online content platforms, programming language communities, and developer hubs.

Our Developer Relations teams are distributed worldwide, with most members working remotely. This role can be based in North America, South America, or EMEA, offering you the opportunity to be part of a truly global team. Expectations:

As a Technical Content & Partnerships Strategist, you will:



  • Expand MongoDB's presence within technical communities by sourcing and establishing solid and long-lasting relationships with third-party content platforms, programming communities, external forums, and developer hubs
  • Develop and implement an all-around outreach strategy to connect with key influencers and community leaders to enable content collaboration
  • Help develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with MongoDB's goals and resonates with the developer community
  • Collaborate closely with our Developer Advocates and other internal stakeholders and support them in creating content that resonates with their communities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for these third-party channels, providing support, resources, and updates to strengthen partnerships
  • Work closely with our editor, and collaborate in designing and implementing SEO best practices to improve visibility, discoverability, and drive traffic


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in community management, developer relations, technical content management, or partnership development within the tech industry. Other related roles and experiences may also be considered
  • Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, programming languages & frameworks (Java, C#, PHP, and Python), and their communities
  • Knowledge of developer / Q&A forums like Reddit, StackOverflow, or Quora
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative environments, effectively engaging with cross-functional teams and external partners while moving the ball forward independently
  • A proven track record of successfully building partnerships with developer communities
  • Excellent written and communication skills, preferably tailored to a technical audience


Nice to have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (coding bootcamps / traineeship) is a bonus
  • Experience working with databases, developer tools, or cloud providers
  • Marketing experience related to GenAI
  • A nice-to-have is a basic understanding of SEO tools and experience optimizing content to increase our visibility and engagement

MongoDB's base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$104,000 $204,000 USD
