The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Department of Education is seeking a part-time student teaching supervisor beginning January 2025. Responsibilities will include visiting classrooms, meetings with student teachers, providing guidance using research-based best practices, and working with the university Director of Field Placements and Exit Criteria. All supervision is in person. The successful candidate will possess at least a Master's degree with teaching experience and substantial knowledge about applying the Danielson Model/Act 13/PDE 430. Educational administrative/supervisory experience is preferred. The application submission package should include a letter of application, a current curriculum vitae, a graduate transcript, a philosophy of education, and contact information for three professional references. PA Act 153 clearances (PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, and PA Child Abuse History Clearance) will be required prior to the commencement of employment.
