Journey Campaign Manager and Business Analyst - Remote

This role will sit within M&R Marketing Operations and will focus primarily on the Intake and translation of Marketing Business Requirements to technical BRD that will be utilized by Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) developers and builders for audience creation, journey orchestration, HTML and content personalization needed for successful journey execution and deployment across all applicable channels (Direct Mail, Email, SMS, Real-time offers, etc.).

Primary Responsibilities:



  • This role will also capture new or modified data and capability requirements as needed by Marketing Operations in the Journey development process
  • Works with the MarTech Product organization to prioritize backlogs and roadmaps for new capability features and the IT organization for new/modified data needs respectively
  • Facilitates agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Removes obstacles that impede the team's progress and ensures the team follows agile practices and principles
  • Share functional and technical best practices on campaigns, content, reports & data as needed
  • Prepares technical BRD and ensures completeness and assess feasibility requirements
  • Assign and communicate campaign complexity and standard turnaround times
  • Validate Technical BRD design with Marketing Strategist prior to Campaign Build
  • Review requests and determine which all teams need to be involved for successful delivery of customer Journeys (Operations, Marketing, Creative IT, MarTech Product, Data Analytics)
  • Transition Workfront request and all associated documentation (BRDs and assets) to the campaign development team for implementation
  • Provide technical guidance to the campaign developers
  • Manage the delivery and execution of all campaigns and other requests handled by the campaign team
  • Work to resolve issues with MarTech Product and engineering team if any issues and/or risks that may arise
  • Ensure campaigns/journeys are delivered as designed and meet quality standards
  • Supports approximately 300+ journey deployments for M&R (MA/DSNP) Acquisition, Member and Group Retiree

Required Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of Business Analysis experience inclusive of creating technical BRDs and understanding of data elements needed for Journey/Campaign Execution, with a solid understanding of data storage structures
  • Experience in analysis of business processes and workflows, and providing evaluations, benchmarks, and/or process improvement recommendations
  • Intermediate Experience using Process Flow software (Visio, MIRO, etc.) to capture Journey Concepting and designs
  • Intermediate Experience using Adobe Workfront
  • Familiarity with MarTech Tools used for Journey Building, Marketing segmentation and audience creation (SFMC, UNICA, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Platform - AJO, CJA)
  • Experience working in Agile methodology and practices
  • Experience working in Direct and Digital Marketing environments

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
