Backflow Service Technician

The Backflow Service Tech for ensuring the safety and integrity of water supply systems by installing, testing, and maintaining backflow prevention devices. These devices are crucial for preventing contaminated water from flowing back into the public water supply, thereby protecting public health.

Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain backflow prevention devices in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Testing: Conduct regular testing of backflow preventers to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with local regulations.
• Repairs: Diagnose and repair any issues with backflow prevention systems, ensuring they operate effectively.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs performed on backflow devices.
• Compliance: Stay updated on local and state regulations regarding backflow prevention and ensure all work meets these standards.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to explain the importance of backflow prevention and provide recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as required.

• 0-2 years of Backflow servicing & repair needed.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess a backflow license/certification.
• Ability to read basic schematics.
• Must be able to use app-based technology.
• Professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capability.
• Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
