JOB SUMMARY The staff accountant is responsible for assisting the Finance Director by providing full scope accounting duties within the Center's accounting operations including implementing the accounts receivable/receipting and accounts payable/disbursements and ensuring the proper recording of transaction, providing timely and accurate reports and analysis of the Center's operating departments. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a minimum of five years of professional general accounting or audit experience within an enterprise unit of an educational membership, faith-based or nonprofit entity with a budget of at least 8 million dollars. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years accounting experience with a background in general ledger, financial analysis and account reconciliation. Experience with fund accounting software and additional experience with membership or recreation management software is preferred. Skills/Abilities:
