401k & Company Match Position Summary: Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) is looking for an experienced and strategic Manager, Content Strategy to lead the development and execution of content strategies that elevate brand engagement and growth. Reporting to the Director of Content & Creative Services, this role is critical in shaping how BBU's brands communicate across all digital and traditional channels. The ideal candidate is a content strategist with a strong background in consumer-centric storytelling, brand asset production, social strategy, and digital marketing. This is a remote position, with preferred locations in Philadelphia, PA, or Chicago, IL. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development:
- Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive content strategies aligned with brand goals to drive consumer engagement across all touchpoints, including digital, social, ecommerce, and traditional media.
- Craft creative briefs for our agency partners, working closely with Brand and Consumer Insights to ensure we are providing clear direction that is informed by a strong understanding of the brand purpose, business strategy and audience.
- Collaborate closely with brand teams, internal partners and agencies to develop and execute omnichannel content plans.
- Campaign Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end content development process for campaigns, including concept ideation, pre-production, on-set direction, and final asset delivery.
- Partner with brand teams and agency partners to ensure high-quality execution of content that supports brand strategies and engages consumers effectively.
- Social Strategy & Agile Marketing:
- Oversee content strategies and guide the execution of paid / organic social assets and social media activations, including influencer partnerships. Collaborate with Consumer Relations on community management.
- Integrate agile marketing approaches, allowing BBU brands to participate in real-time cultural conversations and trends.
- Leverage social listening insights to adjust content strategies and respond to consumer behavior and market trends.
- Content Governance:
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms by managing content governance, brand books, and style guidelines.
- Manage content calendars and ensure the timely execution of initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and corporate communications to ensure all content complies with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with brand marketing, consumer insights, media, Omnichannel and creative teams to ensure content is optimized for various platforms and reflects current consumer behavior trends.
- Provide expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders on creative excellence as well as content production, distribution, and optimization to maximize reach and impact.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Use data and analytics to measure content performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Regularly track and report on content effectiveness, adjusting strategies to meet brand and business objectives.
- Learning Labs & Experimentation:
- Participate in Learning Labs Development Teams to drive innovation and experimentation in brand-building initiatives, testing new content formats and strategies.
- Ability to travel 10-20% domestically and/or internationally for internal meetings, conferences, and creative shoots.

Education and Work History:
- 7+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing omnichannel content strategies.
- Strong experience with social media platforms, influencer partnerships, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with Spinklr or other social listening tools and the ability to use insights to refine content strategy.
- Strong preference for experience in design and packaging, with an understanding of how packaging influences content strategy and brand visibility.
