Responsibilities:

  • As part of the Intralox Baltimore Operations Team, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for on-time, accurate, and complete deliverables for our production areas.
  • Contributes to and executes important processes, develops people, ensures quality, monitors capacity and schedules, and lives the Intralox Laitram Continuous Improvement (LCI) Philosophy.
  • Always prioritizes safety.
  • Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all team deliverables.
  • Utilizes various skills to organize all stakeholders upstream and downstream of direct reports to accomplish goals.
  • Implements Lean concepts to improve productivity and quality.
  • Works closely with manufacturing engineering group to improve safety, ergonomics, parts flow.
  • Maintains continuous accountability of people, equipment, and tools.
  • Utilizes problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership to overcome obstacles.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, introspection, and resilience in the face of routine challenges.
  • Conducts regular planning for capacity and resource allocation.
  • Evaluates work performance by conducting performance reviews. Identify skills and knowledge gaps in team members and then coaches them to close those gaps.
  • Works collaboratively with Supervisors, Leads, and Managers to increase productivity and ensure quality.
  • Leads operational, safety, and equipment training for team members.
  • Communicates updates to stakeholders and other departments as needed.
  • Manage floor-level day-to-day staff including setting staffing schedules and performance management responsibilities (hiring/firing.)

Position Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least one (1) year of previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays and weekends as required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, Production Management, Supply Chain, or commensurate experience.
  • Previous experience with fabrication/electrical installation.
  • Previous experience with Lean/5S concepts.
  • Previous experience with an ORACLE operating system.
  • Intralox equipment/product knowledge.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.

Salary Range: $56,100 to $105,500
