Global Fulfillment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and improve transport/documentation processes. Each day, you will ensure goods are received and shipped while meeting quality, legal, and cost parameters. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing inbound and/or outbound processes and delivery of goods to external and internal clients.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Supporting the strategic plan for the efficient movement of goods, considering various transportation modes including Parcel, LTL, FTL, Rail, Imports, and Exports.
*Collaborating with finance and accounting teams to maintain accurate financial records related to transportation expenses.
*Investigating and gathering relevant information to support claim resolutions, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
*Utilizing transportation management systems and data analytics tools to analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement while knowing and understanding the strategic KPI's for the Traffic Team, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the role
  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree and minimum 4 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and minimum 0-2 years of experience.
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Proficient with SAP/GPC TMS, Strong Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint - Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Advanced global geography skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, with a strong desire to learn new things.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
