Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to drive proactive business development and sales in regions that need your expertise the most. You'll support business growth by aligning with our division's strategy to enhance business conditions in key countries. Each day, you'll leverage your sales skills and provide your expertise in products, applications, solutions, and customer segments to ensure the successful deployment of our strategic plan. Additionally, you'll showcase your skills by leading activities that drive profitable business growth and demonstrate your deep knowledge and innovative approach.
The work model for this role can be remote or hybrid, dependent on candidate location.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Implements the local-go-to-market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the product marketing strategy and global product management alignment while leveraging on the sales organization supporting the utility power generation.
* Achieve yearly order and/or unit volume for focused product lines and pulse monthly quarter to date through regular cadence, SFDC development, account engagement/relationship, and finally execution of business plans.
* Execute annual marketing plan in conjunction with territory sales and product marketing specialist. Supports the product development process from VOC & market trend to keep ABB specification and product offering active. Assist sales and marketing teams in the launch and selling of NPIs & solutions.
* Coordinate market analyses with sales & marketing members, define an appropriate forecast and plan to meet business objectives. Evaluates and shares customer research, market conditions and competitors' data.
* Oversees sales execution for assigned nuclear segment, by product lines, providing relevant materials, price positioning, initiatives, and guidance to sales team(s)
* Drives sales efficiency by delivering appropriate product knowledge information and training (technical and sales) to end user, salesperson and channel partners serving the segment and
facilitates know how sharing and cross collaboration.

Qualifications for the role
  • BS Degree in Engineering preferred and overall, 10-year work experience from field service, marketing, and selling of electrical products in Power Generation, Utility and Nuclear.
  • Strong Utility market experience; a big plus with Nuclear related experience whether is technical, operations, application, sales, and product marketing development.
  • Strong commercial background with technical mindset and skills. Experience with negotiation of terms and conditions and any experience with nuclear indemnity clauses terms is a plus.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance, influence, training presentations whether is tight to product portfolio and solutions to different audiences such as Utilities, Distributors, Independent Service Providers (ISP), OEMs, end-users, and sales teams as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
  • Preferred experience - Leadership in technical sales and/or product marketing and/or product management and utility field service.
  • 35% travel required.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $92,500 and $171,500 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
