POSITION TITLE: Research Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:
Join the Miller Lab to advance the next generation of in vivo biomolecule based therapeutics through cutting-edge research and technology development. As a Research Technician, you'll work closely with senior lab members to conduct diverse lab techniques, adapt methodologies, and contribute preliminary data analyses that support key research initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



  • Work under general supervision, with support provided for unique challenges, and collaborate closely with senior lab members.
  • Conduct a diverse range of laboratory techniques and procedures with a high degree of independence, ensuring precision and consistency across experiments.
  • Proactively adapt standard methods when needed, bringing in sound professional judgment for modifications in complex situations.
  • Assist in the design and planning of experiments to support and advance specific sections of broader research initiatives.
  • Contribute to data analysis by providing preliminary interpretations of experimental results, and preparing initial summaries.
  • Additional responsibilities and duties will be discussed during the interview process.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline and up to one (1) year of related experience.
  • Three (3) to six (6) years of related laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


COMPENSATION:

The expected hiring range for this position is $18.67 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
