Manager, Cardiology supporting Cardiac Rehab, CINEMA Cardiometabolic Program and Cardiovascular Prevention Program

• Manage the overall operations, people, financial, academic, service lines, and planning areas for the department(s) & department/institute(s).
• Continually focus on improving operations, enhancing revenue and reducing costs.
• Assists department leadership to develop and implement strategic and operational plans relevant to the department/s and appropriate department/institutes.
• Provide oversight of the operations and support functions for the assigned department(s) and /institute(s) across the health system, including medical centers and satellites. Functions include; physician recruitment and deployment; access, scheduling, training, policies and procedures administration, budget management, human resources, finances, and program growth.
• Develop and implement appropriate plans to support department/institute growth including strategy, marketing, finance, human resources, and other related services.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
