$74,100 - $94,200 Application Window Open date: October 29, 2024 Next review date: Friday, Nov 29, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, Dec 31, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Gomperts Lab in the Department of Pediatrics, David Geffen School of Medicine & the Division of Hematology Oncology is seeking a highly motivated project scientist who is willing to take on a leadership role in developing vascularized multicellular lung organoids for studying Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and lung cancer and who will be involved in bioinformatics analysis of single cell RNA sequencing of the models they will develop. They will also innovate in imaging of the lung organoids and lung tissue in the lab for projects in IPF and Cystic Fibrosis. The position requires participation in a variety of professional activities, including generating analyzing and reporting on data along with writing manuscripts and grants and presenting at consortium meetings, as well as national and international conferences.
